In Non- CT news, Sydney McLaughlin set a new high school record in her first and only time running the 300IH.  Her time of 39.80 broke the old record of 39.98 set by Lashinda of Wilson, CA and even the American record of 39.73 by Kim Batten.

American Fork from Utah set the national high school record in the 4 x 1600m with a time of 16:41.30, an average of just over 4:10 a person.

In the 3200m 25 runners broke the magic 9 min barrier (with two more in the 2nd heat) led by Cooper Teare of St. Joseph Notre Dame, NC who set the meet record with a 8:41.46.
