CEDAR FALLS, IOWA -- In a final tuneup before competing in the Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Championship, the Drake men's track and field team won four events at the UNI-Dome Open Friday.
Sophomore
Jon DeGrave (Lake Villa, Ill.) won the 400-meter dash in 50.34 seconds, while running the first leg on Drake's victorious 4x400 relay which was clocked in 3:24.43. Other members of the relay were senior

Ben Jaskowiak (Madison, Wis.) captured the mile run in 4:29.15, while junior
Colin Coomer (Overland Park, Kan.) was second in 4:29.19 and freshman Michael Rodriguez (Chanhassen, Minn.) was seventh in 4:35.61.
Senior
Josh Bangert (Washington, Mo.) soared 23 feet 9 inches to win the long jump, while Karys was fifth at 22-4.5. Karys was second in the triple jump at 45-0.25. Junior
AJ Fajimolu (Jos, Nigeria) was third in the triple jump at 44-11.5
Sophomore
Shaun James (Lawrence, Kan.) was third in the 60 in 7.03 and fourth in the 200 in 22.37.
Junior
Adam Oestreich (Bettendorf, Iowa) was third in the 3,000 in 9:09.55, while Rodriguez and sophomore
Derek Campbell (Sycamore, Ill.) tied for fourth at 9:10.86. Junior
Brandon Lewis (Plymouth, Minn.) was fifth in the 800 in 1:57.89. Freshman
Kevin Harp (Iowa City, Iowa) was seventh in the shot put with a throw of 46 feet 0-.75 inches.
