2011 Western Valley Conference Indoor Meet

We are excited to host the Indoor Western Valley Conference Meet again this upcoming season on March 19th of 2011.

Coaches Information Sheet:
Field events will begin at 4:00pm, running events begin at 4:15pm on Friday and field events will begin at 10:00am, running events begin at 10:15am on Saturday.

Camps Team Campus will be in the basketball gym. Please remember to clean up your team area before you depart from the meet.

Rules IHSAA rules will govern all events. SPIKES WILL BE ALLOWED size limit. NO CHRISTMAS TREE OR NEEDLE SPIKES! NO SPIKES ALLOWED OUTSIDE THE TRACK AREA. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION FROM ALL EVENTS. Athletes in the long jump and shot put will be given four attempts. The starting height in the high jump will be 44 for the girls and 54 for the boys.

Facilities Six lane, 200 meter Mondo track surface including HJ and LJ approaches. Throwing circle is wood.

No team scoring!

You may enter 3 individuals in the following events: 55mH, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m/1600m, HJ and LJ. You may enter 4 individuals in the 55m Dash and 6 individuals in the Shot Put. You may enter one 4x800, distance medley, and/or sprint medley relay team and up to three 4x200 and 4x400 relay teams.

Awards will be given to 1st place in each individual event as well as each relay event.

Heat Sheets & Results Heat sheets will be emailed to coaches on Thursday night. A full set will be available as soon as possible after the meet. We will have a coaches scratch meeting 45 minutes prior to the start of the field events at the head scorers table.

Implement Weigh-In Will take place in the equipment room located on the south wall approximately 45 minutes prior to the start of the first throwing event. Please weigh in all implements at this time. Listen to announcements for exact time and location.
