IOWA CITY, Iowa - Sisters Marie and Anna Hostetler finished first and second, respectively, to lead Mid-Prairie to the championship in the River Valley Conference meet.
The Golden Hawks scored 31 points to top second-place Monticello (51) and third-place Cascade (93). Iowa City Regina (119) finished fourth.
Marie Hostetler led the race from start to finish and completed the hilly course in 18:29.52. Anna Hostetler posted a time of 19:32.33. Monticello's Paige Holub grabbed third in 20:13.39. Mid-Prairie freshman Ana Fleming (20:36.98) and Madeline Rhomberg (20:52.47) of Cascade came in fourth and fifth, respectively.
