LINCOLN, NEB.  -- Senior Jeff Grassmeyer (Freemont, Neb.) placed fourth in the invitational mile for the Drake men's track and field team at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational Saturday.

Grassmeyer was clocked in four minutes 11.28 seconds.

Senior Kevin Earl (Overland Park, Kan.) was sixth in the 800 in 1:55.52, while sophomore Charlie Lapham (Golden Valley, Minn.) was 10th in 1:56.02.

Junior Brandon Lewis (Plymouth, Minn.) was 10th in the 1,000-meter run in 2:37.40.

Sophomore Josh Buschling (Washington, Mo.) was 14th in the 3,000 in 8:56.01.
