ST. LOUIS, MO. -- Drake sophomore Shaun James (Lawrence, Kan.) has been named the State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Men's Track Athlete of the Week following his performance last Saturday at the Tom Botts Invitational in Columbia, Mo.

James swept to titles in the 100- and 200-meter dashes, running the fastest times in the MVC this outdoor season of 10.87 and 21.72 seconds, respectively. He also ran the first leg on Drake's 4x100 relay which came in fifth.
