WALNUT, CALIF. -- Drake junior Casey McDermott (Newton, Iowa) competed in the 1,500-meter run at the Mt. SAC Relays Friday night, being timed in four minutes 37.72 seconds.

"It was a good experience and hopefully I can use this as a springboard for the future," said McDermott.
