ST. LOUIS, MO. -- Drake sophomore Jon DeGrave (Lake Villa, Ill.) was named the Missouri Valley Conference Men's Track Athlete of the Week for his performance last Saturday at the Jim Duncan Invitational

DeGrave won the 400-meter hurdle event, running the fastest time in the Missouri Valley Conference of 52.60 while beating Northern Iowa's Greg Offerman who had owned the previous best mark. His time currently ranks 70th in the nation.
