IOWA CITY, IOWA -- Drake senior Jeff Grassmeyer (Freemont, Neb.) finished fourth in the 1,500-meter run at the Iowa Musco Invitational Saturday night.

Grassmeyer was timed in 3 minutes 51.40 seconds

Sophomore Shaun James (Lawrence, Kan.) was fifth in the 100-meter dash and seventh in the 200.

James was clocked in a season best 10.73 seconds in the 100, clipping senior teammate Josh Bangert (Washington, Mo.) who was sixth in 11.0.2. James was timed in 21.70 in the 200.

Freshman Dan Karys (Bartlett, Ill.) was third in the triple jump at 45 feet 3.5 inches.

Freshman Kevin Harp (Iowa City, Iowa) threw a personal best 187-2 en route to a fifth-place finish in the javelin.
