PELLA, IOWA --  Drake senior Deidra Dirth (Apple Valley, Minn.) won the women's discus at the Central Open Friday with a personal best throw of 156 feet nine inches.

Freshman Isaac Twombly (Baldwin City, Kan.) was 10th in the men's discus with a personal best of 144-6. Freshman Kevin Harp (Iowa City, Iowa) was 11th in the men's shot put at 43-4.25.
