How would you describe your high school running career in three words or less?
What is your favorite pre-meet meal?
Bagel with peanut butter
What is your proudest running moment so far?
Winning the Drake Relays open 800 because it's something I've never done before and it's been my goal since freshman year to win a Drake Relays title.
How did you begin running?
One of my friends told me about a track club he was at in 5th grade and I tried it out and loved it.
What schools were you looking at for your collegiate running career?
Iowa, UNI, Nebraska, Central Missouri
Did you take any college visits? If so, what was that like?
It's an interesting experience, you get to see all of the facilities and get a feel for what campus life is like as well as meet people on the team that you will train with.
How did you end up picking the University of Iowa?
I thought that Iowa was the place where I could be most successful because of their top tier mid-distance group, and I know some of the people on the team which is nice because I at least know some familiar faces.
What are you most looking forward to about running in college?
Meeting new people and also having new competition to run against, because in high school it seems like you run against the same people at every meet.
What areas of study interest you?
Sports Marketing and Psychology.
