Iowan’s Lisa Koll & Katie Flood at World XC’s
Fort Dodge HS (2005) and Iowa State U (2010) graduate Lisa Koll finished 40th of 101 in the Senior Division (8k, 27:15) of the IAAF World Cross Country Championships, Punta Umbria, Spain on March 20. Katie Flood, WDM Dowling Catholic (2010) and now at the U of Washington, placed 19th of 90 in the Junior Division (6k, 20:18).
Koll was the 6th runner on the USA’s 3rd place Senior Women’s team; Flood 2nd on USA’s 7th place Junior (19 & under) squad. Both qualified for their respective USA teams at the USA National XC Championships, San Diego, CA on February 5.
