POLL: Missouri Girls XC Runner of the Week (Oct. 23-29)

The cross-country season is in full swing season and the times across the state are showing that. 

Below are the top girls performances from the past week around Missouri. The winner will be crowned the Missouri Girls Runner of the Week for Oct. 23-29.

Polling starts on Monday, Oct. 30 at 9:30 a.m. CT and ends on Friday at 12 p.m.

Abigail Tague, Lebanon
She ran 18:46.4 to break the school record (18:53.13) that was set in 2007 to take third place at the Class 5 District 1 meet on Saturday.

Jessica Lane, Seckman 
The junior ran 19:18.30, a new personal record by nearly 40 seconds, and placed 10th at the Class 5 District 1 meet. Her effort helped Seckman qualify for state as a team for the first time.

Caterina Rossomanno, Rockwood Summit
She ran a season-best 18:28.70 - breaking 19 minutes for the second time this year - to win the Class 4 District 1 meet on Saturday.

Katrina Cantwell, Fair Grove
​​​​​​​The freshman took home the Class 3 District 2 title with a time of 19:57.27 - winning by nearly 20 seconds - in the race held in Lamar. It was her third win of the season.
