Greater Kansas City CC Coaches Award All-Metro Honors

The Class 5 State runner-up Rockhurst Hawklets finished atop the final GKCCCCA team rankings. Coach Michael Dierks was named the Coach of the Year and had three boys on the First Team and another on the Honorable Mention squad. All-State finishers Henry Acorn, Kai Somasegaran, and Andrew Davis earned First Team honors while their 4th All-State finisher Justin Waldron earned Honorable Mention honors.

Coach of the Class 3 State champion St. Michaels the Archangel,  Vince Fitzgerald and Class 4 State runner-up Platte County's Courtland Ingram were also Coach of the Year finalists with Dierks.

Raymore-Peculiar landed two on the First Team and a 3rd on the Honorable Mention team in Gabriel Voelker, Carter Younger, and Andres Kemper.

Rockhurst's Acorn, Class 4 State runner-up Andrew Johnson of Platte County, and Class 4 State champion Isaac Rivera of Lincoln College Prep were finalists for Runner of the Year for Show-Me State side. Rivera, an NXR Midwest 3rd Team All-Region, RLXC 4th placer, and Foot Locker Midwest 4th placer and Foot Locker finalist Isaac Rivera earned the Runner of the Year honor.


In the Sunflower State, Shawnee Mission North's Micah Blomker was the Kansas Boys Runner of the Year.

Olathe North's Anjali Hocker Singh was the Kansas Girls Runner of the Year.
