Submitting XC Meet Results
Obviously, IOWATFXC.COM can not post results unless we get them. And we want to post complete results; results for every athlete & team competing in every division/event in every HS meet in Iowa. Limited results may be good enough for newspaper or IATC purposes; but it’s not good enough for us, and not good enough for participating athletes & coaches, and fans.
For meet directors who have to produce complete results for participating coaches/teams anyway, or for coaches participating in meets, it’s easy submitting complete results. Just email the complete results in appropriate format as an attachment to lknudson@milesplit.com.
Appropriate format - Most meets generate results using Hytek, Raceberry Jam, RaceTab, or similar software; each offering various formats for outputting and distributing results. The original HTML format is perfect for most and our purposes; not only for posting results, but compiling the results into athlete, team, conference, division, and state statistics and rankings. Original PDF’s produced by the software will do. Scanning the printed results into photo format PDF’s will not; as they can not be converted to digital character and numerical data and posted on the website and converted to statistics/rankings. We can process results submitted in original Office document or spreadsheet/table form, as long they are not scanned into photo format.
Posting Results - Results received in the original Hytek, Raceberry Jam, RaceTab, or similar format will be posted as received.

Conclusion - Meet directors and coaches attending meets, PLEASE submit complete results in appropriate formats. Your athletes, other coaches, and fans (and we at IOWATFXC.COM) will love you for it!!!
