5.       Keys to your successful track & field training program?  God has blessed me with this talent, along with a great family, coach, and team that are always supportive and there for me.

6.      Your favorite track & field meet?   Drake Relays, because it is a meet that includes not only high school, but also college and pro athletes.  It’s nice to be able to watch the other athletes run, and see what I can look forward to if I keep running and training hard.  I also like it because I think that it brings out the true talent in high school track and field because it is not divided into classes (1A, 2A…).

7.      Track & field athlete(s) you most enjoy competing against?  Hannah Stouffer, Jalynn Roberts-Lewis, Agnes Sayeh and Ashlee Downs.  I have had the chance to train with all four of these girls, and I love competition within the team, and also being able to be friends after the finish line no matter what happens.

8.      Your greatest experience in track & field so far?  Being a part of the RHS track team, because we have grown so close! We are more like a family rather than just being a group of girls running together.  I think this is why the team is able to compete so well as a whole.

9.      Goals for the 2012 track & field season?   My goals for this year are to win the state meet and Drake Relays in four events each, help RHS win the state meet as a team, and take down Natasha Kaiser-Brown’s school records in the 100m, 200m, and 400m dashes.

        10.    Long-term goals in track & field?  For now my goal is to take track a step at a time and to focus on where I am right now. I hope that this will prepare            me for wherever track ends up taking me.
