IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS WHEN INTERPRETING THESE RANKINGS:

A.  Individual’s best times are only included from results that we receive and compile (i.e.- reduce each meet-event-place-name-school-time to separate data-lines in our huge results database).  That’s why it’s important that we receive complete results from all meets.

B.  Because the rankings are based on best times, obviously they favor athletes-teams that ran races on fast courses in good weather conditions.

C.  Some athletes may be listed more than once under different spellings, if we didn’t identify those in the compiling process.  If so, let us know ( lknudson@milesplit.us ), and we’ll correct that.

D.  Despite these projected rankings for 2013, actual placings will be much determined by newcomers and the relative development of returning athletes.
