Holdiman competes internationally
Anna Holdiman, senior, Waverly-Shell Rock HS represented Iowa and the USA as a member of the US Junior Team at the Great Edinburgh International Cross Country Meet, Edinburgh, Scotland, January 5. At the meet, Anna finished 15th of 44 (4k- 14:52) among an international field consisting of junior age (19 & under) athletes from the USA, Great Britain, and Europe; on a typically difficult (soft, cold & damp, with barriers) international cross country course.
Anna was selected for the U.S. team by virtue of her 7th place finish (5k – 17:43) in the Footlocker National High School XC Championships, San Diego, CA on December 8.
