55th Annual Cross Country Invitational

Date:Saturday, September 7th 2024

Location:Iowa Western Community College 2700 College Rd., Council Bluffs, IA 51503 Please park in the lot between the Fine Arts and Wrestling building in the Northwest corner of campus.  The start and finish lines are on the practice football fields.

Schedule:        9am          Girls MS Race (2 miles)

                          9:25am    JV/V Girls HS Race (5K)

                          10am        Boys MS Race (2 miles)

                           10:25am    JV/V Boys HS Race (5K)

                           11 am         Awards

Awards:   HS: Medals to the top 15 places in each varsity high school race. Top 3 varsity teams will also receive a                              medal and a team trophy to the championship team. We will have an awards ceremony at the end                                of the boys race

                  MS: Medals to the top 15 in each race, awards passed out in the chute.

Regulations: IHSAA and IGHSAU
Entries: Registration is set up in Bound, under the meet event. If you are not in state, we will send you an invite to enter into Bound. Please enter your entire roster by September 5th at 3pm.


Timing: FinishLynx is the primary timing/placing system. We will have one backup, writing down bib numbers. Runners need to leave the finish line area immediately at the conclusion of the race. Please have one coach near the finish chute to help runners that might go down.


Entry Fee: $75.00 for each JV/Varsity high school team ($150.00 for both B/G). If you have less than 5 runners, $15.00 per runner. MS Entries are $5 per runner entered (Max $50). Please send the entry fee to ALHS Activities
