2010 Iowa High School Elite Meet

Time: Class 1A & 2A – Friday, March 19, 2010 – 4:00pm Field and Running Events 
 Class 3A & 4A – Saturday, March 20, 2010 – 10:00am Field and Running Events 
   
Facilities: Six lane, 200 meter Mondo track surface including HJ and LJ approaches.   
Throwing circle is wood.   
 
Rules: IHSAA rules will govern all events. 
 SPIKES WILL BE ALLOWED. Ό” size limit. No Christmas tree or needle spikes.  
NO SPIKES ALLOWED OUTSIDE OF THE TRACK AREA. FAILURE 
TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION FROM ALL 
EVENTS. 
 
Camps:  Team Camps will be in the basketball gym. Please remember to clean up your team 
areas before your departure from the meet.

All entries are due by Noon on Thursday, March 17th, 2010. 
This system is automated and will shut down at the deadline time listed above.  Please 
make sure you have entered and declared all athletes and relays by this time.  If you

Entry Fee: $80 maximum per team (boys and girls separate)   $10 per individual  
 Entry Fee can be mailed to Nick Maas, BVU Track and Field, 610 W. 4th Street, 
Storm Lake, Iowa 50588.   
 
Entry limits:  You may compete 2 individuals in the following events:  55mH, 200, 400m, 800m, 
1500m/1600m HJ, LJ 
 You may compete 4 individuals in the following events:  55m Dash 
 You may compete 6 individuals in the shot put 
 You may only compete 1 team in each relay event 
 
Heat Sheets:  Will be emailed to coaches Thursday night. 
 
Meet Information: Heat sheets and other pertinent meet information can be picked up at the 
scorer’s table located in the north-west corner.  
 
Implement Weigh-In: Will take place in the equipment room located on the south wall 
approximately 45 minutes prior to the start of the first throwing event.  
Please weigh in all implements at this time.  Listen to announcements for 
exact time and location.  
Results: A full set will be available as soon as possible after the meet. 


Instructions for Online Entries: 
 
1. Go to the website for the meet as given in the information for the meet.  
2. Complete the sign-up for meet information.  Make sure to write down your user name and 
password for your records.   
3. If you have entered a previous meet you may Import your rosters. 
4. When making entries for individual events PLEASE use the format by each event.  
Examples:  Shot Put  32’ 4” would be entered as  32-04.00  400 meter Dash of 1:02.35 
would be entered as 62.35 
5. When you finish your entries save them by clicking on (Save without declaring).  This way 
you can make changes before you declare your final entries.  Please print a copy and 
check them over.  Make sure you have only two people in each individual event and the 
correct format is given. 
6. When you have made all of the corrections and are sure you are not going to make any 
further changes you may declare your entries.  Once you declare them you cannot make 
any changes.  I would wait until the day they must be declared to do this or at least very 
close to that date.
