IOWA CITY, Iowa - The Cedar Rapids Prairie boys cross country team captured the Class 4A district meet title here at the University of Iowa Ashton course Thursday. Iowa City West senior Kolby Greiner won individual honors.
Prairie took the championship with 41 points behind a second-place finish by Robert Laue (16:18.9). Iowa City West was second with 68 as Greiner completed the race in 16:07.5.
Cedar Rapids Washington (72) finished third with Khory Nobles, Paul Schneidermann and Max Locher grabbing fourth, fifth and sixth, respectively. Cedar Falls (98) was next with Brandon Conrad (16:27.8) the third individual to cross the finish line.
