Southlake's Reed Brown (TX) coasted to a 15:01.80 en route to victory at Foot Locker Nationals in 2016, posting the 36th fastest time run at Balboa Park.

Timpview's Aidan Troutner (UT) ran the 20th all-time fastest boys 5K at the NXN National Championships en route to victory in 2017.

Addison Dehaven (Brookings HS) claims back-to-back South Dakota Gatorade Cross Country Runner of the Year Award.

All-American/Honorable Mention All-American Awards.   Sioux Falls Lincoln lead the way with three All-American winners on the boy's side- great work by the Patriots.

These are simply my own projections for the Footlocker XC Championships this Saturday in San Diego, CA. I wanted to breakdown and highlight some of the top individuals competing for a national title and All-American spots. Many people do not follow high school as closely as the NCAA or professional running scene, so I wanted to give a preview of the up-and-coming distance runners in the country. Many current distance stars competed at these championships and the Foot Locker history is fun to look back on. Good luck to all of those competing at the highest level in high school... RAPID CITY � It was the best of times and it was the worst of times for the Bobcat boys� cross country team at the 2013 Class AA State Meet at Robbinsdale Park in Rapid City as senior Addison DeHaven repeated as the medalist, but Brookings underperformed as a team.
