1. When & how did you get started in track & field?
My first track meet was when I was about 8. I did the long jump because my sister was running in the meet and I wanted to do something too!
2. Person/people most influential to your success in track & field?
Watching my sister run and hearing stories about my mom run influenced me to get involved in the sport.
3. Your favorite track & field event(s)?
400 hurdles and Heptathlon

Kenny Wheeler
5. Keys to your successful track & field training program?
I believe hard work, setting challenging goals, and enjoying the sport are keys to a successful track training program.
6. Your favorite track & field meet(s)?
Drake Relays
7. Track & field athlete(s) you most enjoy competing against?
I like to compete against the teams from western Iowa because we don’t compete against them often.
8. Most memorable experience in track & field so far?
The most memorable experience was staying at the track until dark after hurdle practice with coach Kenny and the hurdle crew, and telling funny stories while eating popcorn.
9. Greatest accomplishment(s) in track & field so far?
My favorite moment was after running the 400 hurdles at the Drake Relays last year.
10. Goals for the 2013 track & field season?
My goals for the 2013 season are to PR in the 400 hurdles, 100 hurdles and pentathlon.
11. If a senior, college/university you will attend, or schools you are considering?
Undecided.
12. Long-term goals in track & field?
Compete at the collegiate level and work on dropping my time in my events.
