1. When & how did you get started in track & field?
I started track as an 8th grader. My teacher, Mr. Payton, ask me to come out. He said I would be good in the sprints.
2. Person/people most influential to your success in track & field?
My mom keeps me going; saying I’m doing good, I could run in college, and she wants to see me do that.
3. Your favorite track & field event(s)?
Long jump, 100 meter dash, 200 meter dash, and relays.

5. Keys to your successful track & field training program?
Coming to practice, working hard, and getting my techniques down.
6. Your favorite track & field meet(s)?
Drake Relays, State Meet
7. Track & field athlete(s) you most enjoy competing against?
Cedar Falls and Iowa City High
8. Most memorable experience in track & field so far?
Dropping times in relays 4x200 1:28.73, 4x100 41.89, and 100m 10.70.
9. Greatest accomplishment(s) in track & field so far?
Setting school records in two events; long jump - 23’4.5 and 4x100 relays - 41.89.
10. Goals for the 2013 track & field season?
Improving my skills and techniques, and getting a state title this year
11. If a senior, college/university you will attend, or schools you are considering?
Considering St. Ambrose, Iowa, Northwest Missouri State, and Wartburg.
12. Long-term goals in track & field?
Staying health and getting better as the year goes on, and keep dropping my times.
