The distance runner was close to earning his first state title a year ago, but he came just shy, finishing third in the 3200m in 9:22.84 and fourth in the 1600m in 4:17.81. Watch Schillinger go fast yet here yet again, though he's only entered in the 1600m. A fitting end for Schillinger's career would be a title, and the road to one could begin here at Iowa State.
